Presentation About The Bandura
The Cultural Wonders of Ukraine Exhibit at the Dallas Public Library incorporates film screenings and presentations. On Sunday, February 15th, local Bandurists Mark Krasij and Chrystya Geremesz provided information about the instrument and presented the documentary "Music of Survival," which focuses on the Ukrainian American Bandurist Chorus. Having joined this remarkable group, Mark offered the audience a preview and performed several songs.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, the City of Dallas suspended their Sister City ties with Saratov, Russia and a few years later, signed a new Friendship Agreement with the second largest city in Ukraine, Kharkiv.
