Dallas Wind Hosts Ukrainian Composer, Catherine Likhuta and UAST Shares in the Excitement!

The evening was magical as the Ukrainian Born Composer, Catherine Likhuta premiered her piece titled, Bury and Rise at the Morton H Meyerson Symphony Center. Dallas Winds commissioned Catherine to create a piece and she delivered. She took inspiration from the famous Ukrainian Poet, Taras Shevchenko and created a wonderful piece that transports you into the struggles of Ukraine.
