This is a powerful story of love, honor, rebellion and survival through the eyes of two young lovers, caught in the ravages of Joseph Stalin's genocidal policies against Ukraine in the early 1930s. Our local Ukrainian community attended showings at the Angelika in Dallas as well as a few other chosen locations.
