Spring Baazar at St. Sophia Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall
19th - 20th Saturday & Sunday 12pm – 5pm
Ukrainian food and crafts for sale,
eat in or take home, pyrohy, stuffed cabbage, kapusta and kielbasa. Take
Highway 121 between the cities of Lewisville and Frisco. When you reach
the city limits of The Colony, look for Morning Star Road, which is west of Legacy
and east of Paige Road. Morning Star Road is also the entrance into the
Legends Residential Development and does not have a stop light. Head north
on Morning Star until it dead ends into North Colony Blvd. Take a left onto
North Colony Blvd., St. Sophia’s will be on the right.

Spring Picnic
Saturday, the 28th, 2pm – 6pm
The UAST Spring Picnic will be held
Saturday, May 28th from 2 pm to 6 pm, at
Canyon Creek Park, Richardson. Bring a dish to share. UAST will provide
grilling meats, drinks, condiments, plates and utensils, lawn games and fun. The
date change allows us to use the swimming pool free of charge that day. Please
let Andrew Chobany (andchob@swbell.net
or 972-235-4920) know that you will
attend.
To reach Canyon Creek Park, from Coit Rd, go east on Campbell
Rd west, turn
north (left) on Nantucket Dr, then turn right on Copper Ridge, turn left on
Flat Creek Pl and then left on Aspenwood to the Park (Dallas Mapsco 7N).

Ukrainian Independence Day
Sunday, the 28th, approximately

Celebrate Ukrainian Independence Day
with a festive outdoor picnic at St.
Sophia’s Ukrainian Catholic Church after Liturgy on Sunday, August 28th.
(around
11:00am). They will be serving traditional picnic food like hotdogs and salads
and
a variety of beverages. A $5 per person charge at the door will cover your meal.
Father Vasyl Savchyn will speak in the church hall about his recent trip to Ukraine.

2005 at 6:OO pm at home of Helaine Nelson, 17020 Club Hill Drive, Dallas

Bring a dish to share. Beverages provided. (From the Dallas Tollway, exit at
Westgrove. Take Westgrove east, past Knoll Trail and Briar Village Road, turn
north on Club Hill Drive and follow to address (on right side of street).

A FUN SOCIAL GATHERING.
